Hunyuan3D is Tencent's open-source image-to-3D model. It produces high-polycount, well-textured 3D meshes from a single reference image and is one of the most capable free image-to-3D backends available today.
Use Hunyuan3D when you want detailed geometry and rich texture for product visualisation, e-commerce previews, or any case where surface detail matters more than raw speed. Hunyuan3D 2 in particular improves multi-view consistency and texture baking.
A single front-view photo on a clean background with ≥ 512×512 resolution gives the most reliable output. Subjects with hard surfaces and clear silhouettes work better than fluffy or transparent materials.
