    Stable Fast 3D (SF3D) is Stability AI's image-to-3D model, designed for fast inference. It generates a textured 3D mesh from a single reference image in seconds — much faster than denser models like Trellis or Hunyuan3D, with a tradeoff in fine geometric detail.

    When to use Stable Fast 3D

    Use SF3D when speed matters more than maximum polycount: rapid prototyping, batch generation, or live demos. Outputs export cleanly to GLB / OBJ / STL for downstream tools.

    Tips

    SF3D works best on subjects with clear silhouettes on a clean background. For higher fidelity, switch to Hunyuan3D or Trellis.
